Epithalon (also Epitalon / AEDG) is a synthetic tetrapeptide researched for telomerase activity, telomere biology, pineal signaling, circadian biology, and cellular aging models. Most research comes from cell, animal, and Eastern European literature.

Studied for potential regulation of telomerase-related gene expression and pineal-associated signaling. Researchers have also examined its possible influence on melatonin-related pathways and cellular lifespan markers.

Cell-culture studies reported telomerase activation and telomere elongation in human somatic cells. Because human clinical evidence is limited and mixed, it is described as an aging and telomere research peptide, not a proven longevity therapy.
